Windows Scheduled Task: Unable to start task. 0x80070005: Access is denied.
I have created a Scheduled Task in Windows XP SP3 as my user (full control). The task opens a Microsoft Access database on my C:\ drive and I have set it to run daily (07:05 am) before I log on. It is set to run as my network user and I have set the password.
When I check the Log, I can see that the task errored: "** ERROR ** Unable to start task. The specific error is: 0x80070005: Access is denied. Try using the Task page Browse button to locate the application."
When I am logged on, the Task runs as expected.
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can resolve this?

I think that Windows backup data is stored in the users local profile, and your backup software might be similar. In which case, it is most likely a permissions issue. For instance, having permissions to Delete but not modify a file could cause an issue like that, and clicking Apply might modify the file but click OK might overwrite it (delete).
