‘Cannot create directory’ error message while downloading Office 2011 for Mac OS X
Well am looking to install Office for Mac 2011. Whenever I am trying to download above mentioned software I am getting ‘Cannot create directory’ error message. Previously I was having Office 2004 but I lost it when I supposed to upgrade my MacBook to Lion. Any help on the above mentioned topic will be highly appreciated. Thanks lot in advance.

Well sake of try I recommend that you should boot your Mac in Safe mode and see whether it helps you out.

* Make sure that your Mac is shutdown.
* Now press Power button.
* Once you hear startup tone you will need to hold shift key.
* You should release shift key when you see gray Apple icon and progress indicator.
* Now try to download Office 2011 and see whether it is working or not.
