Nokia C3: Do I need .NET framework?

Do I need .NET framework?
I am not interested in writing programs for PCs.
I am on W7.
Do I use .NET framework on my computer? And in particular do I need to instal updates relating to it?

In that case if you are not using any program that require it then you can uninstall the same but then its worth keeping as many applications these days are developed using languages like C# and VB.NET so if you install any such software in future then you will need it.if you uninstall it then you will be prompted for installing it again. if you are very sure you wont be needing the same then you can uninstall it.

There are a no of programs that need it, i don't think that there is a way for finding out which programs need it, anyways as i have said that if you will install any program that needs it then you will get a prompt saying you to install it.
