How to Change MS word 2007 as a default instead of word 2010
I have MS word 2007 and word 2010 installed on my windows 7 laptop. Now because of the some uncomfortable with the word 2010, i wnat to set the MS word 2007 as a default application. When i open any office word file, it opens in MS word 2010 and not in word 2007. How can i do this process? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can simply use the open with option at the time of opening word or office files. Hence use it and check its output. Right click on file and select open with option shows number of programs that presents on your system. Then use the WOrd 2007 instead of word 2010 here. Its well for you.

In this situation, you need to check mark on the always open in same program option that presents in open with dialog box. It helps to always open word file in your MS word 2007. I used it and get word 2007 as a default program.

In MS Word 2007, one option available. Then first open your word 2007 program and choose the file that you want to always open in word 2007. Use Word's File >> Open dialog. Its work to fix your problem. Then it helpful for you to always open such word file in your word 2007 program.

For making the MS Word 2007 as the default, open it. Then select Office Button. Hit Word Options and finally choose Diagnose. That's it. It works to set your word 2007 as a default word program in multi word program system.
