The Quicktime format is the video container format from Apple, but is also often used for Windows. streaming Quicktime format is also using 3 modules Player, Quick Time with encoder, and the Server Pro. The free player must be downloaded from the Apple site. That is not only an encoder, but a simple and efficient Edit tools. Quicktime Media Server is free. Where as you are using the apple os version then I recommend you to go for this.

One of the most effective player for mac or also for the windows is known as the vlc. I recommend you to go for this player, it will surely play any file as well as the blu-ray. The VLC i s one of the most popular programs for playing multimedia content. One of the main reasons is the easy handling of most video and audio formats. It will play DVDs from around the freeware as well as video CDs, MP3s, MOV and FLV files or DivX. The player supports MPEG and DivX streaming video and may thus have played during download.

MKV is a container format that combines video image in HD, surround sound and subtitles, all in one file. Increasingly widespread, it improves performance in DivX and usability. It will play the media like as DVD, Blu-ray and MKV in HD as well as in Blu-ray Rip. So if this feature is compatible with your requirement then I recommend you to go for this player.

To watch any video format on the Mac usually use the Quicktime application at a maximum. As soon as AVI and DivX video to be played on the Apple Quicktime, it is termed as a really good video player for the Mac but are rare. Apart from that another player named as Chroma video player. It equipped with all the popular audio and video codecs, i recommend you to go for this player. Chroma Player audio and video brings in visible and audible quality to the Mac.

By MPlayerOSX a well-known player for the Mac. The Mac OS X makes the benefits with this player. it supports many formats, it is easy to use, open source. There are more comprehensive programs, but if you need a fast DivX player, it should be just fine one.

Apple's DVD player consists of a window where the DVD movie is playing, and a separate control unit. It is essentially with its same control options as a standard hardware DVD player are having: a mouse click or keyboard shortcut can continue to play and stop, in the movie skip forward or back and adjust the volume with a vertical slider. These basic functions can also use the remote control Apple Remote to run, came with the older MacBooks and available as an option part. Besides these basic functions, remote different play modes, including slow motion and picture-by-frame will be activated with the Apple.
