Nokia C3: Nero doesn’t shows Multi-session option

Nero doesn’t shows Multi-session option
Hi, I use to use the Nero for burning the media disk every time, but when I was yesterday doing the same thing while writing the DVD, I was not able to figure out the multi-session option in my Nero, but I have already too write too many CD before also and at that time it was showing up that option, so what would be the problem, I am currently running Linux 4 on Ubuntu 11.04. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I know some times it happens with me also, so I know what is the problem but I am not sure that it will still help you the same or not, but still you can use that, make sure that that DVD that you were about to write was empty or not already written. I believe that you can only write the CD or DVD for just 2 time only thought it is written with multi session option. So if it is been already used then off course you’ll not be able to use it anyway.

I am not getting actually you didn’t got the option or the option is not mentioned in the list? Because it generally doesn’t happens like the option won’t display but if you don’t know how to get that option you follow this steps, after selecting the new compilation option, a new window will appear and from that you have to select CD ROM after that in that option you can see the multisession tab over there, so in that you can select that option for the media disk.

See if you have the same problem again you can have another idea too for burning the disk, see first of all open my computer and then select your CD/DVD drive and in that put all the files that you want to burn to the disk and after that on the left panel you’ll see the option called burn to disk. After doing this it will start burning the CD or DVD whatever you insert. And don’t worry whenever you write the disk this way it will always make the CD multisession disk only. and this is the best way only as you don’t have to bother about the software also

Thanks for your kind replies guys as after doing that I got the actual option and from the list I select the option called continue multisession disk, but during the writing process and error occurs in between, like the ongoing multisession error occurred. Now don’t know what is the problem again, but still am not getting, and this time I have inserted the new CD also, but still the same happens. Any suggestion?

I think you might have some problem with either the media disk that you insert or with the software version that you using. So you should first try to change the disk and then see whether this is working perfectly or not, but if suppose you have still happening the same problem you should change the software also, and I would like to recommend you that you should use the latest software version for the NERO, and if suppose you search on the internet you can get too many other software also for burning the disk.
