Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
I just received my new computer yesterday. After first starting the computer and going through windows 7 setup, the first thing I installed on my computer was my virus protection software. Later I downloaded City of Heroes and began playing. A few minutes in to the game, the screen turns a odd color and restarts. Upon restarting windows this is the message that pops up.

I was playing the game on Ultra graphic settings. Thought this may be the problem, so I toned down the settings, but the problem continued to occur. It also happened after my wife was playing Sim City 4 for about 15 minutes. My specs should be powerful enough to easily run any of this stuff.

Windows 7 Home Premium (x64)
2.80 gigahertz AMD Phenom II X6 1055
ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4A77T/USB3 Rev X.0x
4096 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are sure about the Configuration of your system then let me tell you that the actual problem might be caused by the Graphic driver which might be corrupted or not showing compatibility with the system. I will advise to visit the official manufacturer's site and download and install the latest version of the compatible driver for your Graphic Card and see whether this is working with the issue of yours or not.

Yes, I had the current driver installed from the official site. I uninstalled that driver, rebooted, downloaded and reinstalled again, rebooted another time, and the problem still persists. Maybe its a faulty card?

Re: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
This seems to be the compatibility issue. As you are trying to run the City Of Heroes game which is old game that requires to run on Windows 2000/XP so running on Windows 7 is not that successful. Windows 7 is having compatibility issue to run the previous version of application on same. The one thing that you can try to run the game with is to install Windows XP mode which will run application compatible with Windows XP. So if you can the try the same and work with the issue.
