Remove or Recover Excel 2007 Password
A friend of mine had set a password on my valuable document. I was unaware of that and he is not here right now with me. He left for vacations with his family. So I am unable to contact him anyway. I need that file. So is there any possibility for me to remove that password or change it?

Any freeware or shareware will also do?

Excel Password Recovery is a free tool to help you recover lost or forgetten Excel workbook passwords. Although there is no guarantee that the Excel password will be recovered it is a much quicker method than the "brute force" methods that most paid password recovery tools use. However note that this tool is only for recovering Excel workbook passwords and not VBA, Sheet or any other type of Excel password.

But that is for only Excel 2003 - 95 documents and not for Excel 2007.

Anyone else have any solutions?

Well, i have got a method and want to share with you, though i am not sure if it will help.
There is an Excel password recovery tool named Excel Password Unlocker, an easy-to-use and professional toolkit to recover Excel password in minutes.
Three types are available for you: Brute-force attack, Brute-force attack with mask and Dictionary attack.

just have a try with it, may you access the Excel file.
