Spell Checker not working properly in Microsoft Office 2011
I have recently installed the Microsoft office on windows 7. Everything on this working fine but while opening the word document I have got the error message saying that:” Word cannot start the spelling checker. The spelling checker files may be missing”. Now I don’t know what to do now. Whenever I open the word document I get this message every time. Last night I have tried to install the full Microsoft office but during that time also I have got the same error. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue. Please help me on this.

I would like to suggest you the following steps and so that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to make hit on the start icon on the desktop and after that make click on the run. Now on the run type Regedit and after that hit the ok button. Now on the registry entry go to the following location: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing Tools\1.0\Override\en-US]. Now here delete this following registry entry and after that go through your issue.

I also had the same problem. Then one day my friend told me that the following steps and it works for me. I also use it to solve this problem. To do this first open the word and under that go to the tools on the option and after that make hit on the language option. Now on the language option select the English and after that make uncheck mark on the” don't check spelling". Now once you do that and after that go through your issue. I hope this will help you.

I think you have issue on your Microsoft word and I would like to suggest you to uninstall the office and after that install the new Microsoft office and so that you can solve your issue. To uninstall the office first make click on the start icon on the desktop and after that make hit on the control panel. Now on the control panel go to the add/remove program and under that make double click on the office and uninstall it once you finish the uninstalling and after that restart your system and then install the office again.

I have faced the same issue on mine Mac. I have this problem since last week. My choice of spell checking Microsoft Word 2011 is not working properly. This issue encountered after installing the snow leopard. Anyone have an idea why can it be? Can anyone tell me why the spell checker does not work in Word on my Mac? Please help me. I have also gone through some threads but it doesn’t works to solve mine issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.
