Touchpad driver won’t work on the msi u100
i have installed the Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit on my system and i am using MSI u100. I have installed the drivers from the website. Now i am having the issue in my system i.e. my systems touchpad was not working after installing the driver. When i tried to scroll up and down it was not working i don’t know what i have to do. Before installing the driver mine touch pad was working correctly, i can scroll the up and down and there is no problem. Please any one can solve this issue?

Re: Touchpad driver won’t work on the msi u100
In general, the on / off feature comes with the manufacturer's drivers. If your windows 7 operating system was re-installed, just use a generic driver that does not include advanced options. And it seems that MSI does not provide this driver. Maybe it's not an option for its control management system. I need to know which touch pad driver you have installed. When we installing the touch pad driver you need to check the driver settings and can give your details of systems so that can help us lot to solve your issue. I hope this will help you lot.

I would like to suggest you to do the roll back driver, so that you can solve your issue. i had this issue for couple of time and i tried this one. I think you should try this one, first go to the device manager and then click on the view after that make a click on the show hidden device and after that click on the touchpad with an exclamation mark next to it. Now make click on the roll back driver and then reboot your system and install the driver again and then restart. i think this will help you lot in solving the issue.

I just had the same problem with my notebook Sentelic, tried to delete several system to replace the driver, removing the battery for 5 minutes, restoration, etc. Decided it was a hardware failure, so he opened the machine, disconnect the track pad ribbon cable from the motherboard, put it back, replaced the case and now it works without any issue. If that fails, the next step would have been to replace the other end, but that involves removing the motherboard to gain access. I think this will help you lot in solving your issue.
