Unable to burn DVD in iDVD because of Missing Files
Hi guys

I need help here , I use the iDVD to ma a DVD with the video and pictures, while I was making the DVD I move some file to the another folder. Now I added thoe file again but its giving me error every time now while open up iDVD, saying that you have a missing file then it shows the file .i have to hit cancel each time to get it worked. Now I need to burn the DVD but its show me an error that there were errors in project validation. These errors have to be fixed before burning the project. And on the menu it says there is a broken asset. Does anyone here can help me on this I would be really glad to know this .

Thanks I advance

Only used it once and it worked perfect but here I've seen all kinds of issue against this program and some even lack of logic. Since I have the DVD Studio Pro and I have not bothered to open the program. To do this it is best to do everything with iMovie, both video and photo transitions. If I remember correctly, in iMovie HD have an option to send the project directly to iDVD. Use this option to see if it improves. To which the sound is concerned is declared a failure by Apple but do not know exactly what it is or anything like that, I can not tell you much. To convert to DV using MPEG Streamclip. The program is a terrible and lets you convert from almost anything to almost anything including DV. Of course, if your files are MPEG will have to do a double conversion, one for video and one for audio, and overlap in both iMovie and MacOS files tend to take for ass with this format and discriminate the audio. More about iMovie and iDVD I can not say, I spent some time in professional programs and do not touch this

Hey can you tell me Were you able to see those images in iPhoto that had the "!" previously? If so then the library is fixed. You may have to remove the photos from the slideshow and add them once more.

in place of using "Burn DVD..." on the File menu, select "Save As Disk Image...". This will go all the way through the entire process of making the a proper DVD disc image with no the burning stage. If that works, after that you can make use of "Disk Utility.app" in the Applications/Utilities folder to seek to copy the image to a actual DVD.

I hope this might work for you here is a easy workaround which worked for me in idvd4 by the similar issue . Just made a little movie file and rename it with the precise name that the missing file window need from you. Put it in the right folder or reline it and that should work well.....did so for me hope this still works

That occur to me as well , it always occur every time i moved the laptop all through a burn, i believe it’s since whenever you move the laptop it activates the S.M.S (sudden motion sensor) so it stops burning for a next which cause it to break, so it doesn't work, so do it yet again, without moving the laptop
