Unable to save Skydrive on Microsoft office
I have office beta of 2010 and I am able to upload the all files and document t that are created on the office to Skydrive. And I am also able to upload to RTM without any issue but from last one week I am not able to upload the any word, excel and ppt files on Skydrive and also I am not able to save the files on the Skydrive. While uploading files I am getting error saying that” can't connect to Skydrive location”. Now I don’t what to do. Can anyone suggest on this and so that I can solve mine issue. I am using the internet explorer.

I think you have issue on your internet explorer and so I would like to suggest you to clear the all cache and after that go through your issue. Once you clear the caches and after that go through your issue. if this doesn’t help you and i think you need to reset the internet explorer and after that your issue will get solved. For reset the internet explorer you need to follow the below steps: press the start icon on the desktop and after that make hit on the run. now on the run type inetcpl.cpl and after that make click on the ok button. Now you will get the internet explorer dialog and under that go to the advance tab and under that make click on the reset on the Reset Internet Explorer settings panel. Once you make click on the reset and after that again make click on the reset and after that close the application. Now once you finish these things and after that go through your issue.

I would like to suggest you the following steps and so that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to follow the below steps: first open the Microsoft word and make click on the file and after that make click on the save and send. Now once you make click on this you will get the option and under that make click on the save to web. Now first login to Skydrive and under that make click on the new button. Now you get the browser and under that create the new folder and after that name the folder. While doing this make sure that you have given permission to sharing. After that hit the next and not go to the word and under that make click on the refresh button. Now make double click on the created folder and after that on the save as dialog save the file that you want and after that save the file.

Hello thanks for replying and I would appreciate your suggestion. As you said that I have followed the suggestion but during this time I have got the error message and I am not able to upload the file or save the file. When I tried to save the file on the new folder I have got the error saying that “could not open the file and save it on local folder”. And I have tried lots of time to do this but I got the same issue on mine issue. Now I irritating, please can someone help on this topic.

According to me your WebClient is stopped and therefore you’re getting this issue. So I would like to give the following steps to start the WebClient and after that you can solve your issue. To do this you need to follow the below steps: first close the all program on your computer and after that make click on the start and after that make hit on the search. Now on the search type service and after that make click on the ok button. Now on the result make double click on the programs and after that click on the service. Now on the service go to the WebClient and after that select the properties. Now on the properties make sure that your WebClient is not stopped and once you do that and go through your issue. I have faced the same issue on mine system as well and I have gone through lots of thread to get the solution but none them helped me to solve mine issue. After long searching on the internet I have found the solution and it has been helped me to solve mine issue. To do this go through the below steps: first make click on the start icons on the desktop and after that make click on the run. Now on the run type control keymgr.dll and after that hit the ok button. now once you finish this you get the windows and under that delete the all reference of your lives and hotmail etc and after that restart your system and then go through your issue.

If above all solution doesn’t help you then I would like to suggest you to use another browser to upload or save the file and after that go through your issue. I think your internet explorer has been corrupted or not working properly and so therefore I would like to suggest you to check the same things on other browser and after that your issue will get solved. I have faced this issue and after that I have changed the mine browser to Firefox and after that mine issue was solved.
