Which kind of Photoshop software is better in Linux?
Hello there, I am having a problem in buying the software which is compatible with the Linux operating system, the thing is that I am going to assemble or buy a computer later in this time, so I just wanted to know that which kind of the photo shop software and the typing program software present is well build that will help me to use that thing in the Linux version. I am determine to use the Linux operating system because most of my colleagues have told me to do that, since it is free of cost and also it is good in performance wise, but it can be changed into any of the operating system as per your wish and the configuration that you specify, but the solution that you provide to me must be a good one, thank you in advance.

Hello , there are many application that are used in the Linux with the help of the emulator such as wine or xine, but the easy way is to see if the free version of the software is been present or not in the internet before you going for the paid version ones. There is software called as open office which is free and helps you with the option of writing in the computer, also if you are searching for a free image editing software in the Linux, and then you can go with the software called as gimp. This will give you the same interface that you get it in any of the photo editing software in the internet, try with this thing and see how it works.

Hello there, I would personally say that if you are using the emulator such as wine, then there may be the possibility that the software that you are using will not be functioning as good it will be. Also I have seen that most of the free trail version software is not that function able in Linux, so try using windows operating system of your choice, but if you want to stick to linux only then it is better that you install the windows and with the help of the virtual box, install the Linux and version operating system in it. Most of the people do this on their system.

Hi, as you are going to install Linux as a dedicated operating system in it, it is always better that you go for a test with the software and the operating system that you are using in it. There are various methods that are present to test the operating system, the wine emulator must be tested with all the software that you are using in the operating system, you can do one work find all the software that are compatible and also see that you are satisfied with the performance of it, is you are not then try to change the software till you don’t get the most liked one. Once you are at that stage then switch to windows any other operating system and see if that works or not.

Hi there, did you tried working with the live Cd of any of the ubuntu version ones. You know this will help you in getting the right version of the operating system that you are in need of; just do one thing get the desired operating system of Linux into the CD, and then insert it into the cd drive of your computers. See to it that the boot driver is above the hard drive, so that it can directly boot from the cd only. Once you have done this then it will load all the programs and the files in the RAM of the computer, here you can check the operating system based on the performance and all that. Also the work done during that period of time can be stored in the USB drive.
