There could be various reasons which might be causing Blue Death Of screen on the computer. Hence I am suggesting following question which you should answer so that I can tell what is the root cause of the problem and what further steps should be taken to fix the problem of yours. Do you have done and hardware changes on the computer? Do you have done any software changes on the computer? Cany you post the entire log file of the BSOD which you are getting on the computer? Let me know whether you have installed any security software on the computer? Answer the above mentioned question as early as possible.

The problem which you have mentioned over here could be happening due to conflict between the OVI suite and the operating system which you have installed on the computer. Hence I recommend that you should try to boot the computer into safe mode and see whether issue is persisting or not. If issue is not existing than you should clean boot your computer and see which application or service is causing issue. once you have found the root cause you should disable the same and reboot your computer into normal mode.

I think the problem which you have mentioned over here is happening due to corruption or missing of the system file on the computer. So I am suggesting that you should run SFC/SCANNOW command on the computer. You should launch the command prompt on the terminal and execute the command. Makes sure that you have launched the command prompt with administrative rights. You need to wait till the process get completed after doing the same you should reboot the computer.

Looking at the matter of yours I think you need to perform a system restore and see whether it is helping out you or not. Well you should restore the computer of yours to the previously created restore point. The Process of the system restore would take several minute to accomplish so that you need to wait till the process gets completed. System Restore would only work for you if there is no BSOD in the past of the computer of yours.

I am suggesting that you should update the Windows which you have installed on the computer of yours. You can enable the automatic updates from the control panel of the computer of yours. Well once you have updated the Windows you should reboot the computer and see whether it is working or not. Also you can try with the updating the OVI suite and see whether it is working or not. Let me know about the results about the thing which you have mentioned.
