Nokia C3: Windows live Messenger Games

Windows live Messenger Games
my friend and I are both using windows live messenger version 2009 build
14.0.8117.416. Both using XP.
When we go to the MSN games page, logged in, under multiplayer games, we can't play wheel of fortune with each other. it will only ask to connect with someone automatic in the game even tho we can see each other listed as friends as we used to be able to play this game together before.
wondering if this game requires a different messenger that what we are using? You would think if that were the case it would say so somewhere as we are able to play all the other messenger games listed in our windows live messengers under the "actions" play game tab.
If needing a diff version isn't the case.. any other ideas as to why it might not be working?

I am sure you are trying to play on Windows platform. This problem is common for those who are on Mac platform or other. Because to play the game both users need common Windows platform to run the game. Try to run Windows Update and if possible upgrade your Internet Explorer web browser. As it is used by the messenger to run some scripts.
