Runtime Error while loading Openoffice
Hello I have dual-core AMD running and 2GB ram. Recently I have installed the Openoffice but when I try to load any file on Openoffice I get the error message saying that:” Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime error, Program: c:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\program\soffice.bin”. After getting this error message mine Openoffice closes automatically. I have tried the almost all steps but nothing have been helped me to solve mine issue. Now I don’t know what to do and how to solve this issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

This issue might be due to manifest file or wrong location. I think you should use the Revo uninstaller or another real uninstall program to remove the Openoffice completely. First of all download any uninstaller on your system to remove the Openoffice on your system. Once you finished tat and after that remove the all folder and registry entry of Openoffice on your system and then go through the official website and then install the latest one.

Ok even I have faced the same issue and I have gone through the below steps to solve this issue, first open the windows explorer and after that go to the program files. Now on the program files search for the file called manifest in search windows and after that look for the any instant of soffice.bin.manifest. ok now if you get any manifest file or soffice.bin then I would like to suggest you to remove it and then make sure your getting the issue or no.

I just need to know what version of operating system your using because if you have windows 7 with internet explorer 9 then you will face this issue because combine of Windows 7 with internet explorer 9 will lead stop Openoffice on your system and so I would like to suggest you to uninstall the internet explorer 9 if your using.

If ab0oev all steps not working to solve your issue and then I would like to suggest you to reset the user profile on your Openoffice and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. Even I have faced this issue and after that I have reset the user profile and after that I have solved mine issue. So to reset the you need to remove user id from below locations:

To solve this issue I would like to suggest you to Clean Boot with Only MoSearch and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. To Clean Boot with Only MoSearch you need to go through the below steps: first make click on the start icon and after that click on the run. Now on the run type: msconfig.exe and after that make click on the ok button. Now you will get the system configure utility windows and under that go to the general tab. Now on the general click Selective startup check box and after that go to the startup tab. Now on the startup tab make click on the MoSearch and all other option should unchecked.

I have gone through this same issue and I have just uninstalled the Support for Fast Searching feature of Microsoft office and after that I have solved mine issue. So I would like to suggest you to uninstall the Support for Fast Searching from control panel and then make reboot system for the best result.

If above all steps not working to solve your issue and then I think you have issue with the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library, so I would like to suggest you to make reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library and after that make sure your getting the issue or not. First go to the control panel and after that make click on the add/remove program. Now on the add/remove program make click on the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library and after that select the remove. Once you uninstalled the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library and after that reboot the system and then install the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library from official website.
