It is an interesting things: if --file-caching=800 :input-slave=alsa:// :v4l2-standard=0 params are in alternative string, there is video in vlc window other than vlc does not generate stream file and there are completely no error in messages. If these params are not in selection string it generates stream file and save accurate, excluding there is no video in vlc window. Is there several timing mistake. What is the dissimilarity vlc and libvlc. The vlc works correct through this params, libvlc does not. If you endeavor to set an existing video file as source, it will be running well, merely v4l2 webcam does not works.
