New iMac without iDVD
I bought a new iMac after getting my iMac I made a movie on iMovie and after making the movie I wanted that movie to burn on a DVD but I found that there was no software like iDVD in my new iMac and I was surprised looking this. And when I called the dealer from where I had got this iMac he told me that new iMac does not have iDVD with it and if I needed the iDVD I need to use the old ilife disc to install iDVD. The dealer also told me that I can also use the thirst party software if I don’t want to use iDVD from the old ilife disc. So I just have a question that should I search for the old ilife Disc of are there any other software where I can write the DVD.

I think this is done by Apple to stop piracy as they won’t allow us to burn any DVD. But yes you can install iDVD from the old iFile Disc or you can get third party software like toast which is also good software to burn a DVD.

I would recommend Toast 11 which is much better than iDVD. In fact produces DVD quality video better than iDVD. Probably uses compression algorithms best apple product. You can say that the chapters created in the installation of imovie you will find yourself well on the DVD created with toast. Also you can burn with toast also bluray. Sure enough, but the coast is a very complete program.
