Unable to open .odb file in Openoffice Base
Hello I have installed the Openoffice and everything working fine without any issue but recently when I tried to open the odb file but I am not able to open this file on Openoffice Base. I have tried the lots of solution to solve this issue but nothing helped me to solve mine issue. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue. Thanks in advance…

Hello I need to know more specific information on your issue and so that I can give proper solution. First of all do you get any error message while opening odb file. Secondly what Openoffice version you’re using. Third what is your database engine and are you using any embedded database. Please give information on this and so that I can solve your issue.

Hello thanks for replies. When I try to open odb file I don’t get any error message, it just doesn't load and I have Openoffice 3.3 version and I am using embedded database along with HSQL for database engine. I hope now you can solve mine issue. Thanks in advance..

I think your getting this issue due to 'recovery' of a corrupt Base file and so therefore you’re not able to open file. So I would like to suggest you to recover corrupt Base file from recovery tools. There are lots of corrupt Base file tools and the most of tools were used to recover from the ZIP file and to create NEW database from the database subdirectory.

Hello even I am facing the same issue and when I tried to open the odb file I have found Open Office splash and to solve this issue I have just reset mine profile and after that I am able to open odb file. I think you should try to reset profile and so that you can solve your issue.
