Google publishes a list of 1000 most visited websites

What's a better way to end this work week than a long list of sites from Google! The search engine has indeed published list of 1000 busiest URLs in terms of unique visitors.

The calculations were made with data Google Ad Planner and the list offers the following information: the type of site, the number of unique visitors, the number of page views and whether or not the site includes ads.

Despite the turmoil, it's Facebook, which leads with 540 million visitors in April. It is followed by Yahoo.com, with 490 million visitors, with 370 million of Live.com and Wikipedia with 310 million.

If Google announced that the list will be updated every month, it also indicates that it is incomplete: in fact, the Mountain View company has not included its own sites in the ranking, and also rejected "adult sites", advertising agencies, areas that have no content which is visible to the public or does not load properly.
