I would like to suggest you to that disabling the touch pad will quarrel with the mouse on the other hand the sensitive of the touch pad is very high. You can disable the touch pad momentarily and you can verify mouse works fine or not. To disable the touch pad follows the steps below:- go to the start button on the desktop and then click on the search box. Under the search box type the devmgmt.msc and hit the enter. Now explorer the Mice and pointing device and make right click on the Touch pad and click on the Disable, after that restart your system and now your touch will disable and mouse will start the work. If mouse works, you need check out your touch pad driver with the pc producer to fix this issue.

There are lots of ways to disable the touchpad, follow the steps below you can sure disable the touchpad: - to turn off the touchpad press the F7 by holding the Fn button. This will turn off the touchpad. If it was not works you can also follow this way as well. Click on the start icon and then make a hit on the control panel. Under control panel make double click on the mouse and then open the mouse properties. Now under the mouse properties click on the device setting and after that make click on the setting. Now under the setting click on the tapping and remove the check mark from enable tapping check box. I think this will help you lot.
