Not able to change Desktop background in the Windows 7 Home Premium
i have bought the HP pavilion on the system and i have install the windows 7 home premium on my new system and i use the internet explorer 7 with Kaspersky internet security 2011. I have bought the new system recently. Everything on the system works great but i have small issue in the system and that is i can’t change the desktop background on the windows 7 and i cannot slide show. I have tried several times to change the background but it doesn’t works and it will not show any error. I don’t what should i have to do solve this issue. Can anyone solve this issue?

i would like to suggest you to perform the following the steps so that you can change your desktop background. First go to the control panel by make click on the start and then select the control panel. Now under the control panel search box type the following “experience” and then make click on the enter button. Now you will get the options Check the Windows Experience Index. Click on that and then make confirm you have scored more than 3. If you’re not got more than 3 you need to upgrade your video. After that type the “Glass” on the control panel search box after that click on the enter. Now you will find the Change Windows Glass Colors" or "Enable or disable transparent glass on windows" these both are the same. Select one of these and make confirm that transparency is enabled. Finally now right click on the desktop and pick the properties. Now on the below of the task bar make check mark on the aero peek. Now you can change you background. I hope so this will help you lot.

I think you need to perform the following steps, so that you can solve your problem. First go to the start icon and then select my computers, under my computers go to the c programming folder. Now on the c folder remove this file C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\TranscodedWallpaper.jpg
after removing this file now you can change your desktop background. This due to the permission mess up and therefore the windows not updating the picture, i hope this will solve your issue.

I would like to suggest you perform the following steps, so that you can solve your issue. First go to the hp website and select the Download drivers and software button and after that enter your product name and after that enter your computer model. After that assume your operating system i.e. windows 7, after that scroll down to bottom and select the Select software and drivers and finally make click on the Wallpaper picture position enabler and now your problem will solved. I hope this will help you lot.
